Humbled By Nature

I’ve traveled to some really awesome places and still, I find myself constantly drawn to the desert. Some people visit and consider it too hot, too cold, too barren – basically, too harsh. Yet for some reason, I’m in paradise.

Sometimes it takes a bit of a step back if you can’t see it right away, but it is possible to see the unique beauty in this seemingly desolate landscape. Imagine the strength it takes to thrive as a wildflower, a tree or an animal in this environment; the planning, the resilience, the heartiness. To live without water and shade for sometimes months at a time is astounding. I can’t help but have the utmost respect for Beings able to prosper in this setting.

It’s comforting to know that no matter what you’re going through – there is always hope.

What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well.

Thank you :)

LOVE Death Valley – Heaven in the desert is such a great way to describe it too! I’d love to catch one of the ‘super’ spring blooms – I hear this rare occasion feels almost unworldly.
